This Cookies Policy explains how TryItalianFood uses browser storage when you visit the website. TryItalianFood does not use traditional HTTP cookies for analytics. Analytics data is stored in your browser's local storage, as described below.

Language preference

TryItalianFood stores your selected display language in browser local storage so that your preference is remembered between visits. This item does not require consent and is not used for analytics.

Analytics local storage

When you consent to analytics, TryItalianFood creates the following items in your browser's local storage. These items are not transmitted in HTTP request headers and are not accessible to other websites.

tif_analytics_consent — records whether you have accepted or rejected analytics. Stored until you change your preference or clear browser storage. There is no automatic expiry date.

tif_anon_id — a randomly generated visitor identifier (UUID v4). Created only after you accept analytics. Does not contain your name, email address, or contact details. Removed when you withdraw consent.

tif_session — a randomly generated session identifier (UUID v4). Created only after you accept analytics. Renewed after 30 minutes of inactivity. Removed when you withdraw consent.

Managing preferences

You can accept or reject analytics at any time using the cookie banner. Click Preferences to open the analytics settings panel. If you have already made a choice, click Privacy settings in the website footer to change it. Rejecting or withdrawing consent removes tif_anon_id and tif_session from your browser storage and stops further analytics collection.
